  1. Campus News - This is the official newspaper of the University of Wollongong which will appear about every six weeks throughout the year. A hard copy version is also printed and distributed off campus and some are also available to those on campus, including students, who do not have access to the electronic version
  2. Extra Bytes of News - This news does not appear in Campus News as it is more targeted to an internal audience or is late breaking material which could not fit into the six-weekly cycle of Campus News
  3. Who's in the News - The Media Services Unit has employed a media monitoring firm to spot where University of Wollongong staff and students appear in the media in Australia and overseas
  4. Media Releases - The Media Services Unit issues a range of releases on a variety of topics which would have special interest to media outlets across Australia and overseas
  5. Academic/Admin Announcements - The University conducts a variety of activities including conferences, seminars and courses which staff will now be ably to access readily from one spot on News Bytes. There are also occasional announcements on various administrative happenings which now also can be accessed from News Bytes
  6. Staff and Student Development Courses - Announcements of development courses available for staff and students of the university.
  7. What's on Diary - News Bytes lists as an easy ready reckoner, a list of events coming up on campus
  8. Job Vacancies - Check here for current job vacancies within the University.
