Staff recognised for their outstanding contributions

The 2004 University of Wollongong Vice-Chancellor’s Awards Function was held on Friday August 13, formally recognising the outstanding contributions and service of staff members.

The awards were attended by the Chancellor, Professor Michael Codd AC, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gerard Sutton, Vice-Principal (Administration), Mr David Rome, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Operations), Professor John Patterson and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Rob Castle.

Colleagues, friends and family of the award recipients were also present to show their support and appreciation.

Award categories included 25 Years Service Awards, Outstanding Service for General Staff, Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning (Faculty and Vice-Chancellor awards), Research Supervisor of the Year and the Marie Lewis Award.
