Korean students in special visit to Intelligent Polymer Research Institute

Senior students from the Department of Applied Chemistry in Hanbat National University, Korea, paid a special visit to UOW's Intelligent Polymer Research Institute on 10 February.

Accompanied by Professor Jang Myoun Ko from the Department of Chemical Technology at Hanbat National University, the students learnt more about the Institute's role in the development of electronic materials.

Institute Director, Professor Gordon Wallace, presented an overview of IPRI's operation to the students before they were taken on a tour of the research area. Various Institute researchers gave brief demonstrations of their fields of expertise including those involved in sensors and actuators, bionics and wearable sensors and telemetry.
