Students bootscoot their way to bushdance
May 04, 2007
Students from SHARP (Student Health Alliance for Rural Populations) held a Bushdance at the Roadhouse Music at Yallah recently. It was attended by students not only from UOW but medical students from the University of New South Wales who joined in the fun. SHARP is part of the National Rural Health Network made up from 19 universities across Australia interested in rural and remote health. The next event that SHARP will be hosting will be in conjunction with SIMSS(Shoalhaven and Illawarra Medical Students' Society) on Friday 18 May – a Mental Health Symposium on Schizophrenia. Check out SHARP's website (http://www.uow.edu.au/health/sharp/index.html) or contact Kay Kent via kkent@uow.edu.au for further details.
