Wide ranging organisations participate in Graduate Careers Fair

UOW's Careers Service has been involved in staging the Illawarra Graduate Careers Fair for the past five years and this year's event was held today( 10 May) to coincide with Innovation Festival activities. It was staged in a market styled atmosphere in the University Hall. Manager of UOW’s Careers Service, Mr Martin Smith, said the event was staged to highlight to students that attractive graduate career options exist within the region. He said it also assisted the region to attract the talent, knowledge and innovation which the University develops. Participating organisations were: 360HR Pty Ltd, Accenture, Adecco, Andrew Corporation, Australian Computer Society, Australian Hydrographic Service, BHP Billiton, BlueScope Steel, Boral Limited, Cardno Forbes Rigby, Hatch, Hunter Valley Administration, Illawarra Mercury, Internetrix, IPA Personnel, Itree Pty Ltd, Oasis Asset Management, Office of the Employment Advocate, Pillar Administration, Shellharbour City Council, teach.NSW (Department of Education and Training), Tyree Transformers, University of Wollongong – UniAdvice and Wollongong City Council.
