Weerona resident, Andrew Horne (pictured bottom left in Queensland Country Life), recently won second prize in the National Merino Fleece Junior Judging competition.
He attended the Brisbane Show to compete in the Federal Agricultural Societies Council 2007 National Merino Fleece Junior Judging competition representing NSW.
Andrew came second competing against the four other states of Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia. This year’s winner came from Tasmania.
Andrew is a UOW first year nursing student from Berrigan, who won the state title at this year's Royal Show (over Easter), at his first attempt. He hopes to be moving into stewarding for the Royal Agricultural Societies and the Federal Agricultural Societies events.
