Study Abroad students celebrate wedding at UOW’s International House

International House transformed into a reception area to celebrate the marriage of two study abroad students on Thursday 20 September.
Jonathan Stephen Powers and Cecilia Elizabeth Teets were married at Mt Keira.
Jonathon and Cecilia are residents of the UOW residential community International House and are study abroad students from the USA.
The Mt Keira ceremony was followed by an afternoon reception with friends in the courtyard of International House.
The bride and groom will enjoy the session break with a journey down the South Coast of NSW, before finishing their visit to Australia and returning to the USA later this year.
The community at International House, who are predominantly undergraduates, were very excited to host their own international friends at this special occasion.
