Faculty of Education links up with laptops

Students from the University of Wollongong’s Faculty of Education now have improved access to flexible computing systems through a generous donation from the Faculty.
The gift of 12 Apple Mac laptops will allow students using the Curriculum Resources Centre (CRC) to take advantage of the wireless network and use the equipment anywhere in the centre.
Students can borrow laptops for up to three hours during the CRC’s opening hours.
The initiative, led by Associate Professor Tony Herrington, will offer students greater choice and enhanced access to technology, which is essential to fulfilling curriculum expectations.
