Chinese delegation visits to discuss transnational crime
12 Nov 2007 | Renee Criddle
As a response to Australia’s growing relationship with China in combating transnational crime, the Ministry of Public Security’s Young Executive Training Delegation visited the University of Wollongong last week (Friday 12 November).
The visit was part of an Australian study tour the delegation has embarked upon until 24 November.
The delegates came from key cities and provinces of China and included police directors and potential leaders in priority areas such as transnational crime investigations and international co-operation.
The visit was an opportunity to enhance ongoing collaboration with Australian law enforcement agencies and institutions.
