Twenty-year-old University of Wollongong student, Katie Richardson, has been crowned Miss World Australia.
The announcement was made at a glittering ceremony at Sydney’s Star City Casino.
She will now proceed to the Miss World title in the Ukraine in September.
The Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics student competed against 20 others in seven judging categories.
Katie won the Miss World NSW title in January.
