Computer donation Fiji bound

28 Apr 2008 | Bernie Goldie

The Fiji Department of Education (Western) will soon be the beneficiary of 30 computers donated mainly through UOW's Faculty of Education.

The Faculty of Education has been running an overseas teaching practicum in Fiji for about 27 years.

The Directors of the Fiji Practicum in UOW's Faculty of Education, Dr Phil Fitzsimmons and Dr Barbra McKenzie said this made it the longest-running educational program of its kind in the world.

Rotary is assisting by transporting the computers to the shipping agent in Sydney.
