Partnerships, proof and practice -- free student conference

University of Wollongong students are being encouraged to attend a special student workshop on July 14 linked to the 2008 International “Non Profit and Social Marketing Conference” being hosted this year by the Centre for Health Initiatives.
Students will have the opportunity to meet and network with key academics and practitioners in non profit and social marketing as well as have the opportunity to present their own research and develop their skills in research writing, publishing, career planning and job hunting.
While the student workshop will interest students from Health and Behavioural Sciences, Commerce and Marketing, some generic sessions will be of use to all postgraduate and research students.
Papers are being accepted up until Friday 9 May and registration closes on Friday May 30.
Workshop chair and one of the presenters at the workshop is Professor Sandra Jones who is Director of the Centre for Health Initiatives and Associate Dean (Research) in UOW’s Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences. Another presenter will be Professor Janet Hoek from the Department of Marketing at Massey University, New Zealand.
