International participants for computer security conference

Researchers in computer security and cryptography are participating in the 13th Australasian Conference on Information Security and Privacy (ACISP 2008) being held at the University of Wollongong from 7-9 July.
ACISP 2008 is organised by the Centre for Computer and Information Security Research (CCISR). The CCISR works within the parameters of the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Faculty of Informatics.
The conference was opened by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, Associate Professor Graham Williams.
It includes participants from the US, France, Canada, UK, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Warsaw, India, Finland and China.
The three featured speakers are:
• Dr Xavier Boyen from Voltage (USA) -- 7 July
• Professor Josef Pieprzyk from Macquarie University -- 8 July
• Mr Nigel Phair from the Australian High Tech Crime Centre (Canberra) and UOW’s Centre for Transnational Crime Prevention -- 9 July
Program chairs for the conference are Associate Professor Willy Susilo and Associate Professor Yi Mu and the general chair is Professor Jennifer Seberry.
The proceedings of the conference will be published by Springer-Verlag, Berlin, in their Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
