CEDIR conducts “Tips for Engineering Tutors” workshops

Commitment to quality teaching and learning in the Faculty of Engineering led to the design and delivery of the first Faculty of Engineering workshops for sessional staff.
A total of 46 tutors and demonstrators attended the workshops presented by Maureen Bell from the Centre for Educational Development and Interactive Resources (CEDIR).
Participants discussed the importance of tutoring and demonstrating and modern approaches to teaching with a focus on helping students to learn through questioning.
