UOW stamps its mark on ‘Boss of the Year’ finalists list

When it comes to top bosses, it appears the University of Wollongong has a wide range from which to choose.
The announcement of the 2008 Wave FM-Edmen Recruitment Illawarra Boss of the Year will be made tomorrow night (Thursday 11 September) at a dinner event to be staged at Wests Illawarra.
Nominated by their staff, the three members from UOW are among the 13 finalists in the race to be ‘Boss of the Year’. They are the Dean of Science, Professor Will Price; the Director of the Transnational Crime Prevention Centre, Associate Professor Doug MacKinnon; and Professor Sara Dolničar, of the School of Management and Marketing and Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Commerce.
The event is sponsored by radio station Wave FM and Edmen Recruitment. Wave FM’s Tony McAdam said the number of entries received was the largest to date.
Each of the finalists has been interviewed by Edmen Recruitment Illawarra.
