The Community Exchange program works as a ‘matchmaker’ to link not-for-profit community groups to resources at the University, providing students with an opportunity to enrich their learning experiences through participation in the broader community.
Five UOW students have been working with the Coomaditchie United Aboriginal Corporation as part of their third-year subject at UOW, Marketing Strategy. The students developed a marketing plan to assist Coomaditchie become a sustainable and self-sufficient artists’ co-operative.
The students presented their marketing plan at a function on 27 November attended representatives from UOW’s Faculty of Commerce and Office of Community and Partnerships, students and Coomaditchie artists. The presentation coincided with an art exhibition.
