Faculty of Commerce expands operations in Singapore

UOW’s Faculty of Commerce has begun a major expansion of its operations in Singapore.

An agreement with PSB Academy was recently signed in Singapore by the Dean of Commerce, Professor Shirley Leitch and the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Professor Joe Chicharo.

The faculty has offered part-time programs in marketing and supply chain with PSB Academy for the past two years. Under the new agreement faculty operations in Singapore will be expanded through the addition of full-time programs in finance, management and public relations.

“This expansion acknowledges the strategic importance of Singapore as a growing educational hub in South East Asia,” Professor Leitch said.

PSB Academy is recognised as a leading provider of education in Singapore and has operations in China, Vietnam and Indonesia.

From its campus in the centre of Singapore, PSB Academy has more than 30,000 students enrolled in courses from diploma to doctorate level.
