Faculty of Law Prize Night

The Faculty of Law hosted its annual Prizes & Awards Ceremony in May 2009 with over 240 students, staff and guests in attendance.

The event took place at the iC Event Centre and recognised the outstanding academic performance and other achievements of students during the past 12 months.

A highlight this year was an entertaining address by Andrew Haesler SC, who provided an insight into his ‘Life of Crime’ as a Deputy Senior Public Defender with the Public Defenders Office of NSW. Mr Haesler is also a member of the Faculty’s Advisory Committee.

Representatives of many of the firms and organisations that sponsor prizes and support scholarships were on hand to present awards.
