iPhone workshops prove a hit

An iPhone workshop, the first workshop of its kind held at UOW, recently attracted 130 applicants for the 25 available places.

It was mainly aimed for people at UOW but it also attracted interested participants from Andrew Corporation.

Workshop organiser and Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Daniel Saffioti, said the main purpose was to encourage iPhone development and, at the same time, have a fun extra curricular activity.

Workshops will now continue to run for 11 weeks each Monday night in Informatics Building 3 at UOW.
