Need to brush up on your Spanish?

Every Thursday between 3 and 4pm, Spanish accents can be heard on the back patio of the UniBar.

Current and former Spanish-language students – and anyone wanting to practise their Spanish language skills in an informal atmosphere – are invited to participate. The group moves indoors on rainy days.

The lecturers in the Language Centre’s Spanish program, Dr Karen Daly and Lidia Bilbatua are usually present.

They encourage anyone who has some experience with Spanish to attend – no quizzes, no pressure, just people who want to chat in Spanish.
