Information for staff and students 

The Media Unit books freelance photographers to provide photographs for selected news stories and media purposes. At other events UOW News journalists will attend with a camera to take photos. 

When attending an event freelancers can only take a limited number of photos of an event or story for media purposes. We don’t provide a photographic service for such things as social events, awards functions or marketing purposes.

If you need a photographer for an event and we are unable to provide photos or media coverage, or if you require extended photo coverage, please contact our freelance photographers directly and they will be able to advise you of their availability and rates.
