University
information sessions for Year 12 students
8 September 2001
For Year 12 school leavers interested or undecided about attending university,
the University of Wollongong is holding two information sessions for students
and their parents.
The two sessions will take place between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday 17 September
at the University Hall, University of Wollongong, Northfields Ave, Wollongong,
and Wednesday 19 September at Chevalier College, Moss Vale Road, Burradoo.
The evenings will provide prospective students with information about all aspects
of university life, from early entry to scholarships, university services to recreational
facilities. A current student will also be speaking about university from a student's
perspective.
As well as being an introduction to the University, this evening can be used as
an ice breaker for students and their future academic advisers, who will be on
hand to answer questions.
The University of Wollongong offers courses in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences,
Business, Creative Arts, Education, Engineering, Health and Behavioural Sciences,
Informatics, Law and Science.
To reserve a seat for either information session or for further information call
