food fair and cultural shows

Campus East will
celebrate its 15th International Food Fair on Sunday 28 April with residents
from 23 countries cooking and showing their best dishes.
The event is for
residents and staff of Campus East and the University of Wollongong. The Campus
East field will be transformed into a world restaurant followed by cultural
performances. Residents will cook foods from Japanese, Filipino, Thai, Norwegian,
Italian, Indonesian, French, Greek, Australian, Swedish, German, Korean, Indian,
Brazilian, Canadian, Taiwanese, East Timorese, Columbian, Chinese and American
cultures.
Organiser Thidarat
Thongdang said the food fair was Campus EastŐs biggest annual activity. She
said the event would also include singing, dancing, historic re-enactments,
arts and exhibitions.
When: Sunday
28 April from 1pm. Cultural show starts at 3pm.
Where: Campus
East (enter from Cowper Street, Fairy Meadow).
