Oct 30, 2003
The University of Wollongong's School of Information Technology and Computer Science will conduct its inaugural trade show today (Thursday 30 October). The trade show will feature displays from third and fourth year students and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gerard Sutton, will make the official welcome at midday. The object of the show is to present the software development work of students to as wide an audience as possible. Students will be able to discuss their software development projects with visitors during the event. Fourth year students will also be presenting a poster display highlighting the research they have done towards completion of their honours reports this year. Much of this research has an industry focus and students are looking forward to comments and feedback on their research. Their final year honours reports will be submitted in early November. An afternoon tea will be held in the foyer of the University Hall at 4.30pm following the trade show. Venue: University Hall (UniCentre, Bldg 11).
