InnovationXchange Network Scholarships to attend Swinburne Entrepreneurship and Innovation Teaching Exchange, 25 - 27 February 2004 The InnovationXchange Network, Australia's leading innovation network with three-quarters of Australia's universities as Network Leaders, is offering two $1000 scholarships to attend the Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Teaching Exchange, hosted by the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University of Technology. Participation in the Teaching Exchange is limited to two-person teams consisting of an academic and an industry/business colleague and the scholarships cover the registration costs for two sets of paired participants, where the academic and industry or business participant is an InnovationXchange Network Member or member of a Network Leader. See www.innovationxchange.com.au for list of InnovationXchange Network Members and Network Leaders. Applications close 21 January 2004 and successful applicants will be advised by 30 January 2004. Modelled on the premier international Price-Babson teaching conference, the Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Teaching Exchange provides an entrepreneurship education and training program to stimulate practical and intellectual links between the academic and business worlds. This program aims to help colleges and universities develop creative and innovative entrepreneurship curricula, increase teaching effectivneess and develop the teaching skills of entrepreneurs who are interested in engaging in full or part-time teaching or another active role on campus. The two-person teams should comprise: * an academic normally involved in entrepreneurship or innovation teaching programs and * an industry/business colleague who is successful in their own business or company and wishes to link into teaching or other functions. The Teaching Exchange will be held over two and a half days and the registration fee of $500 covers handout materials, morning teas, luncheons and a formal dinner on Thursday 26 February.
