Dec 05, 2003
The 'No Vacancy' sign has already gone up for a breakfast seminar event to be held at the University of Wollongong tomorrow (Friday 5 December) featuring the Catholic Bishop of Wollongong, the Most Reverend Peter Ingham and the Anglican Bishop in Wollongong, the Right Reverend Reg Piper. "We are fully booked out for the seminar which will see both stimulating speakers talk on the topic of "Perspectives on Leadership", said Professor Terry Burke speaking on behalf of the Australian Centre for Educational Leadership which is co-sponsoring the event with the Alumni Association Education Chapter. Professor Burke said it was rare to have both bishops speaking together at such a breakfast seminar. He said they would present their views on the importance of quality leadership in a variety of contexts. The presentation will largely be in discussion format. Time and place: 7am for a 7.15am start at the Food Re-Thought Restaurant (Bldg 67, University of Wollongong). Seminar will finish at 8.30am sharp. Please note: Media are welcome to attend the event. For further information contact Professor Terry Burke on 4221 5689.
