Book launch celebrates role of Shoalhaven Campus

A booklet that celebrates the role of the University of Wollongong's Shoalhaven Campus in its local community will be launched at a special ceremony at the West Nowra Campus on 11 December. UOW Vice-Chancellor Professor Gerard Sutton and Member for Gilmore Joanna Gash will join Shoalhaven Campus Head Robbie Collins to launch Shoalhaven Campus - REAL PEOPLE . REAL OUTCOMES. Many of the Shoalhaven's civic, education, business and community leaders have also been invited to the launch. The Shoalhaven Campus means many things to many people, and this booklet tells the stories of some of those people. It includes fascinating profiles of a broad cross-section of Shoalhaven residents who have achieved their goals through the Campus. All the people interviewed for the booklet have been invited to help celebrate its launch, and to talk to the media about their experiences.The ceremony will also include presentations of 2003 academic achievement awards and scholarships.
