"Work/Family Issues in the New Federal Government's Agenda" will be the topic of a public lecture to be presented by Federal Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Ms Pru Goward, at the University of Wollongong on Thursday 4 November.

Organisers from UOW's School of Economics and Information Systems say the Annual Economics and Social Policy Lecture will be of interest to the broader social services and business community.

The lecture from Ms Goward from the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, will focus on the enhancement of work and family issues.

When: 6.30pm, Thursday 4 November

Where: Room 4, UniCentre Function Centre (Bldg 11)

Re bookings: No bookings are necessary - members of the public can just turn up on the night

Media please note: While the lecture itself begins at 6.30pm, Ms Goward may be available earlier in the day for media interviews and photo/filming opportunities. Confirmation of her possible earlier arrival will be made closer to the time of the public lecture. Advance publicity of this free public lecture would also be appreciated
