'Ask Me' Day - Orientation Week and the first few weeks of session at the University of Wollongong can be a bit overwhelming for students. They receive lots of information but it can be difficult to digest all at once. So tomorrow (Wednesday 3 August) from 10.30am to 2.30pm UOW will conduct “Ask Me” Day where students will have the opportunity to talk to anyone wearing a purple 'Ask Me' badge. The advisers will be scattered across the campus All Canada Day -- The Centre for Canadian Australian Studies is conducting All Canada Day on Wednesday 3 August. It will feature people from the Canadian High Commission who will deliver information about study opportunities in Canada. There will be events throughout the day connected with All Canada Day - an information booth will be set up from 11.30am to 3pm opposite the National Bank ATMs on campus. Leading musician visitor from England - The Assistant Director of Music and Head of Postgraduate Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Bernard Lanskey, is visiting UOW this week. He will be working with students from the Faculty of Creative Arts. The best day to contact him is Thursday 4 August after 10.30am. Visit either Room G27 in Creative Arts to locate him or call Lotte Latukefu on 4221 4384.
