Latest IT research projects go on show

Artificial intelligence, gaming, multimedia and robotics will be among projects on display at the School of Information Technology and Computer Science’s Annual Tradeshow and Research Showcase being held tomorrow (Thursday 19 October) at the University of Wollongong. The School of Information Technology and Computer Science Annual Tradeshow and Research Showcase will highlight the projects developed by final year students ranging from third year students to postgraduates. Projects on display come from a diverse range of areas including: * Artificial Intelligence * Databases * Gaming * Imaging * Multimedia * Networking * Productivity * Robotics * Security * Information Systems Trade show organiser, Daniel Saffioti, said this year's tradeshow would be opened by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations), Professor John Patterson with a special keynote address given by Daniel Rowan. Daniel is a former student of the School of Information Technology and Computer Science and now works for the highly successful Wollongong-based Internet development company of Internetrix. The company now has key implementations of its product suite in various sized organisations.
