Calling all Year 10 students thinking about university studies . . .
Jun 18, 2007
An Information Evening will be held tomorrow evening (Tuesday 19 June) for Year 10 Illawarra students contemplating studying at the University of Wollongong. The aim of the evening is to provide an opportunity for Year 10 students and their parents to gain critical information regarding subject selection, UAI, HSC scaling and the differences between school and university. More importantly, the evening will provide the opportunity for prospective students to speak with faculty representatives and start planning for their future. This event is aimed at being informative and personalised particularly for parents who need to know this information so they can better assist their child. Parents have significant influence of where their son or daughter chooses to attend university, so this event provides UOW with the ability to interact with this key group. All faculties will be attending as well as Wollongong College Australia (WCA) and TAFE. Venue: McKinnon Bldg (Bldg 67), University of Wollongong Time and Date: 6pm-8pm, Tuesday 19 June Parking: Western carpark Further information: Contact Michelle Stojanovski on (02) 4221 4760 or 0410 621897 (m)
