Innovation Campus opening this Friday, 27 June.
The University of Wollongong is hosting the official opening of the first building on its $500 million Innovation Campus this Friday, 27 June at 10am.
iC Central is a spectacular steel and glass design that will form the central services and administration hub for the research and development campus that the University is developing on a beachside location just north of the Wollongong CBD.
Three other major buildings are under construction on the Campus, which will eventually have around 25 buildings and employ up to 4000 people – making it one of the Illawarra’s most significant developments in decades.
The media is invited to join senior NSW Government, UOW, business and community representatives at the official opening, and to tour the facility.

Squires Way, Fairy Meadow
Directions: media representatives from Sydney should take the Mt Ousley Rd exit from the F6 at the bottom of Mt Ousley. Turn left onto the Princes Hwy at the roundabout. At Fairy Meadow shopping centre, turn right into Elliotts Rd. Following Elliotts Rd through to Squires Way, and turn right. The Innovation Campus entrance is 200 metre south along Squires Way.
