Attorney-General to visit Transnational Crime Prevention Centre
Attorney-General Robert McClelland will address senior prosecutors from Commonwealth nations at the start of a special four-day program to be held at UOW’s Centre for Transnational Crime Prevention (CTCP) on Monday May 18.
CTCP has been engaged by the Commonwealth Secretariat to assist in the development of the Commonwealth Secretariat Prosecution Training Program.
More than 20 senior prosecutors from Commonwealth Nations (including Pacific, African and South Asian nations) will be participating or observing.
Among others attending the event on Monday are the Head of the Criminal Law Section of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat, Shirani de Fontgalland, and Dean of UOW’s Faculty of Law, Professor Luke McNamara.
